Holiday Mantel Decoration Ideas

As for stockings, hang them evenly spaced above the hearth. Consider personal touches, such as using photos or monograms. Garlands? You can’t do any better than using freshly cut greens. Collectibles! You might want to feature heirloom ornaments that have been in your family for generations. (Be careful. Don’t drop any.) Prudently and sparely featuring these items can provide an authentic and warm touch.

Of course, you may want to work in the use of electric candles or lights. Use them for both illumination and decorative effect.
